I too have found this speech to be both powerful and thought-provoking, and it's extremely difficult to argue against any of it. But when it comes to presenting one's case to the UN in these situations, the key word you yourself have used is "spinelessness." Once again, it will be up to the United States to make a difference. It used to be "the United States and its allies," but sometimes it's hard to tell who's on 'our side' anymore. I recall reading that there were many in Europe who also celebrated the 9/11 attacks, saying that we deserved it for being 'too cocky' when it came to world politics. If those sentiments still hold true, then Israel isn't the only one standing alone . . .

Yes, a speech everyone should hear or read. So sad there cannot be peace.

This is a great speech; however, I am not surprised. The Jews are living in the gift of God as a country. America will pay for not being 100% pro Israel.
This statement of his was profound to me. "I accuse you of speaking about Israel’s right of self-defense in theory, but denying it in practice." The speaker knows what he is talking about inside out and back again.

A very powerful speech, I find this to be. Reading this made me think about different points you have made throughout the years.

Personally Naut, I hate being put in a box and labelled. Yes for sure I am a Christian but my way is very my own thinking...i have been reading some amazing History while I am away. It just confirms to me that all labels can be dangerous..the fanatics sometimes take over and it becomes my way or die.
