I don't recall who first coined the phrase ( perhaps you do ) concerning the calculation of both military and civilian deaths during war - "acceptable losses" - but it seems that the concept still holds true. Or at least, is still being considered. Someone might also say that you can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs, but these are human lives we're talking about here! There will never be any kind of military action anywhere, any time, when civilians won't 'get in the way.' However, because of the mindset of our 'current' enemy, I think it will be worse . . .

There is no logic in most politics Naut. I suppose some countries do not value life as much as they value ideals. It is usually the innocent who suffer the most.

Our political system in this country do consider Israel an equel enemy as Palestine. Such idiocy is unexplainable except that our powers that be in the White House are Muslim. It is not acceptable to be against Israel a tiny country in the center of those countries of Hell.
