You guys are right. Ariel 70 was living in Spain. It was Ariala who lived
in the Midwest - she talked once about rehabbing an Ozark cabin, weekend place... And I did follow Ariel - loved his stories of places I wish I could have seen...
Memory's a trickster...

Do you remember that dude from Iceland? I forget his blogit name, but I think his real name was Thor. Back then somewhere around 2004 he was begging me to come visit him in Iceland. LOL

Re: Re: Naut, are you sure about Ariel? I'd swear she was from the Midwest
Ariala was from Kansas City (Trish) although she was born in Casa Blanca.

Ariel70 was an old guy in Spain that had moved there from England. I followed him for a while after he left here and enjoyed his writing about his home in Spain, but somewhere along the way I got lost.

Corbin Dallas! Of course, He's been absent for too long, Offy - I'd nearly forgotten about her... and Reasons. And Ariel70, I was so sorry when she moved on. She always brightened this place. I don't think I followed Prof. Peabody , but I remember Gomedome... I don't always agree with every word you write, Naut - but I give you creds for putting a lot of thought and care into your posts, and I do respect your reasoning. And when it comes to science, physics, etc., I'm sure to learn something every time. :)

Re: JimmyA -- I do love your comments. I thought I clicked on your handle
for my favorites. If not, I'll do so right now. Most days I just keep clicking the same old things, and that's a mistake. There's always something new popping up here.

Well, I'm still here, trying to be as insightful and humorous as possible, but something tells me you're not really a fan, although I'd like you to be . . .

How does it go? "Rumours of My Demise Have Been Greatly Exaggerated", LOL, although, like you, I think it has become very quiet around here. Few are dropping in to read my posts - I guess I'm just too 'controversial' for the gentle souls of Blogitville...But I do remember Blanche and the others - and a whole lot more. Remember Ariel70? Very interesting! And Reasons? And of course Corbin Dallas? And Lensman? Always delightful! Remember Muser? And Professor Peabody? And Offy? Gomedome? Foliagegold? And “Drooly” – I forget her real handle – who would have gladly cut my throat? LOL…Somehow things were more interesting back than…

You paint a bleak but true report of the state of Blogit. I hate to think it's run it's course this Blogit but Facebook doesn't do it for me.I can't afford the Casino anymore even though I have met lots of old guys like me to talk with, and it's way more fun than blogging.
