Thank you....I've been cooking all day....corn bread dressing that I make with celery, onions, sage, pecans and tons of shredded chicken in it.....I made two big pans traditional, then a pan with cranberries, cherries and more sage, and a pan with all kinds of garlic, heavier sage, basil, more onion, mushrooms and bacon....The dressing itself is toased buttered garlic bread and biscuits in addition to the corn bread and, of course, there's the hen and two packages of thighs I simmered most of the day - lots of greasy chicken stock, butter, tons of chopping, etc..................in other words, the clean-up has been massive. I'm going to do candied sweet potatoes in the morning and that's all I promised to contribute to the meal tomorrow.
Exhausted.....blessed beyond belief in the land of plenty....thanks for the good wishes.... I don't think I'll cook again until next year!
