Yes. Windows to let us gaze at trees. I have lots of them and each one provides its own little picture of Mother Nature. And, ummm, I have thrown things out windows...even once through it....but that story will end up a post one day. :-)

Ya know, I don't think I've ever actually thrown something 'out of a window' either! I wonder why that is. Hmmm . . .

Re: C_C_T
My Mom always used newpaper and vinegar. But, she always had a bit of problem with the outside too as she was not steady on a ladder.

Well the window cleaners really charge high rates round here Taps. I read in the paper today that a woman wets a newspaper and then cleans her windows with it. I am going to try it when it stops raining as I can never seem to get all the marks of with chemicals.
Years ago an old window cleaner always bought a pint of paraffin from us I don't know what ratio he mixed it with water, I thought it would make the windows smeary.

Re: Nautikos
I would assume it is because you allow Ben to ride in the front seat instead of making him stay in the back seat. LOL

Ah yes, widows! We had a couple of them enlarged to let in more light! And the one that needs cleaning most often is the inside of my car's windshield on the passenger side - can you guess why?

Even if i am spending just a day or two in a room away from home the first thing I do is open the window to check out the view it offers 😃My house has many windows overlooking the river,I love the view, seeing the seasons changing, the water reflecting the lights at night and then comes cleaning them by the time I can get all cleaned the one that was cleaned first is dirty 😜

I like the window over the kitchen sink, the view of the back yard and
the neighborhood. Now with the new white vinyl fence I no longer see the squirrels running along the top rail - they liked the wooden one so much better.

I love windows, too.....but some of my windows have gotten that leak in between the panes that means you have to replace them....and that's a "pane"!! And moving into my mom's house I've inherited her dog who keeps her back windows muddied up with paws and nose.... a challenge to clean as they are covered with burglar bars....and she immediately dirties them back up! So, window cleaners would sure be a great luxury!! I like lots of lighting options on my windows, though...so I can control the lighting in the room...and the ambiance.

Light is a wonderful thing. The Lord is the Light of the world. Beautiful light through the windows make me thingk of how the world is with Him shining on it.

I cannot imagine a world without windows. I have seen so many great views from them. My favorite is the in my master bedroom. I get a good look at my backyard.
