well any one can have a thanksgiving meal, and those that pray before meals have thanksgiving everyday. well some changes are good. some are just harder to get use to, but you are right about me pleasing myself now. my children are good to me and good for me. i dont think they perceived me a wronged person, as i told them that if my ex was happier with another woman then thats where he needed to be. as for my thoughts on the matter, they say hind sight is better and now that i look back, it was long in the making and long overdue. as for the honey, or did you mean money, lol i have more of both.

i am almost there, being a vegetarian that is. i eat so little meat i dont know why i bother to keep some in the freezer. i only take it out when i have company. i didnt know they had tofurkey, will have to see if i can find one. i have purchased a vegertarian cookbook. i am so thankful for my new heater for the house , it is working great. yea, no more freezing or sleepless nights in the summer.

i am almost ashamed at how well i am doing. i was just sitting here thinking if i would win lotto would i share it with my husband, lol. perseverance and courage we all have, we just dont know it till we have to call it up. and we learn with age that nothing is as bad as it seems, as long as we wake up in the morning and we are given another day, we have it made.

well i have excellent health and for that i am truly thankful and i am thankful for my family. when the kids were young at thanksgiving i use to put uncooked beans in the plates and make everyone say something they were thankful for, for each bean before we started eating. i have learned to count my blessings everyday now. and i sure wish you were closer too, i would love to have you and kabu close.

Well Jean we don't celebrate Thanksgiving. I don't know why not, perhaps it will work its way over in time. No one really likes change, but you will realize it does have its advantages, you can now please yourself about everything.You can be yourself and not be the shadow that probably sought to appease the will of another. You have good children and they will most probably be more appreciative of you as you are perceived as the wronged person. Also you have more honey for yourself.

Oh, that's right! Thanksgiving is next week already! Well, my vegetarian wife and I have our 'tofurkey' already purchased and ready to go. All we need now is some cranberry sauce, some biscuits and a pumpkin pie, and we'll be all set! And you're right; it is getting too cold too quickly! Bundle up . . .

I am looking forward to Thanksgiving as well. I host it at my house every year.
I like the idea of having a friend handle the auction. Doing it on Ebay would take up a lot of precious time, I imagine.
