Oh she will get the time straightened out or at least the reception of all things. She will be there to announce the arrival of President Obama and Putin or is it that they will be there to introduce her. Time is something I don't understand when it differs from what I have written down to do.

Well...Actually, Aussies are getting their important news later, since all important news is generated in Europe and North America! There's nothing happening in Oz, other than changes in the price of wool!
If an important event is announced in London on Friday at 2pm, it's already Saturday, 1am in Sidney! So not only does it get there on a later date, any Aussies still awake are well into their cups and won't know what has happened until their hangover has worn off...And I fully expect a broom attack any moment, LOL...

A lot of people are hibernating right now... I often think about how people on the other side of the world are ahead of us timewise.

Thinking (about time and distance, and the turning and orbiting
of the earth) can take us on speculative journeys of the mind. For me, watching an astrophysicist talk about light years and light speed can keep my thought process knotted and boggled until something else distracts me. The thing is, even though she'll be a day ahead of Midwesterners, Kabu can't read your lovely Haiku until you post it.
