Good post. Good questioning of what's going on. Military men in my family would never talk about anything for twenty years after their Honorable Discharge.

Hm' not something to brag about one would have thought. I usually use a maltezer as bait although traps I have set recently have nobbled large slugs and one trap caught two at once,

I think he would have broken military rules which will make him chargeable under military law, He has endangered every member of the team, He has put his country in ever more serious danger, His fame will be his head dangling at the ends of hands of some limey rag head terrorist.

I think this former SEAL has decided to cash in - having acquired a measure of fame for being part of an undoubtedly fabulously well executed operation, he wants some of the 'fortune' that tends to go along with fame in ur culture. That he was the first who actually pulled the trigger is important only to trivia hounds, but then trivia hounds are very common animals in these parts...
