Hi Jean, I wonder where you are going to live if you let your house. It might be a job to repossess it if you felt the need. I suppose you could downsize as a lot of folks do,  property does appreciate eventually. We are living quite a time in retirement so one has to think wisely. Get yer hair cut that's what the Sergeant said to me as I went on leave.

Sounds like you have some good news awaiting you. And I know what you mean about having a lazy day in bed! I wish I could do that too, and my hair isn't even curly . . .

Jeansaw, you lucky girl!
Like Bilbo Baggins, adventure has been thrust upon you all sudden and unexpected like, and you are going to thrive and succeed, and leave behind you all kinds of things that you thought you had, but maybe never did really. What has emerged from the fire with you is all the stuff and especially the people who are true friends and truly love you.
Your self-esteem and your self-image have been battered about, and I guess you are still feeling it, but they are not the most important aspects of You. They are just stuff you have had, and now you are updating them, which is a very good thing!
