- Go to October Is Gone
I absolutely loved this post. It was TAPS back at making any scrap a literary wonder, whether funny or serious, you can do it. Beautiful photographs.

Re: Re: Re: Kabu
I don't know what it is, nor do I care. It was just a silly poem for a laugh.

Re: Kabu
I kind of like the word--though I'll never go to the trouble of making it.

There are a few things that I have put off visiting in my area. I have taken them for granted because they are so close by.

Re: Naut
I had to laugh about you eating pickle soup, just because it's such a silly sounding thing.

One of these days I'll have to make it to K.C.!
I like Son's poem, and I also didn't know what Fricandeau was (is), though I do now - live and learn, LOL...

Oh, and before I forget: I did try your pickle soup over the weekend (actually, my LSW made it) and I love it! I'm glad that she made enough so there'll be more for tonight...

That's very true. Depending on where one lives, there are probably many sights and attractions right in our own backyard that we somehow tend to ignore! It takes out-of-town visitors sometimes for us to go to these places! And yeah, October went by pretty quick! Time to break out the snow shovels, just in case . . .

I don't know which I enjoyed more, the little quote about Octobers,
the pictures of your scenic memorial garden, or your son's verse. What a treat!
