I don't know which is worse....that we are as a nation obese or that car manufacturers are catering to the obese!

I've heard of 'going with the flow' or 'changing with the times,' but of course, this is ridiculousness at its most absurd! In essence, what those dummy manufacturers are saying is "We know Americans are going to continue to become more and more obese, so instead of sending some type of message to do the opposite, we're going to cater to the lowest common denominator [ as usual ] and prepare our vehicles for the fat f***s amongst us!" They send the same message when they feel compelled to widen the seats on buses, trains, plains and in movie theaters. No wonder people around the world want to blow us up . . .

The epidemic of 'euphemistitis' (that's my newly coined word, but you're allowed to use it free of charge, LOL) has even reached the realm of crash-test dummies, has it? That aside, making them bigger makes complete sense - in view of burgeoning waistlines it gives more useful results...
