Actually, Annicita, I have no problem with Best Western. That's why I gave them their 'props,' even though they're being compared to some unsavory hotels! Sometimes you can judge a book by its cover . . . or at least its title . . .

Re:

As long as I've got you singing, TAPS, and laughing! And yes, these puns do take me a while to come up with! I have a small notebook with me at all times, and when something triggers one of these 'whacky witticisms,' I jot it down, and then refine it on the computer later. To date, I have a little more than 700 right now ( do I smell a book in the making? ) . . .

Re: JimmyA

I don't blame you, Sir Wiley. I prefer coffee too . . .

Re:

And I'm sure, Kabu, that tablets . . . plural . . . was not a misspelling! I don't think one will do it after a meal comprised of alligator! Is it any wonder those birds and critters scattered after those stinky belches . . . ?

Re:

One cup of tea, coming right up, FSI! Would you prefer lemon, honey or sugar? Or do you take it straight . . .

Re:

I'm not too sure about that, C C T. I think, you could lay out all the garnish and side dishes you'd want; an alligator is still an alligator, and I don't see a lot of people fancying that taste! And I don't mind drinking tea, regardless of its actual source. But it must have honey in it . . .

Re: Jimmy

That's probably true, Naut. I think, if someone were to ask me about having tea, but felt compelled to ask three times, I might have left too! Glad you enjoyed this week's entries . . .

It must take you all week long to think up all this stuff.  I'm still singing "Polly put the kettle on."  And I'm making me a cup of tea (with a bag in the microwave).

You really knock up some funnies Jimmy,I thought tea came from India.

Arthur told me the packet I had bought did not display very prominently

the source which was Africa.

I wonder would you drink it?

Wouldn't it be nice if do, do, smelled like violets it might encourage

us to eat more alligators.

Jimmy

LOL, lots of funny stuff, too much to comment on; so let me just say I'm not surprised people forget about having tea when everything has to be repeated three times before things happen...
