Is it okay that I chalk this up to 'liberal views,' which will soon doom us all . . . ?

The majority of folk don't give a toss Naut as long as things that happen are not in their backyard.

I definitely believe in the separation of church and state.

Sometimes persnickity politicians and officious officials take it just a smidge too far, nit-picking over bits that are more commercial and cultural than "religious," but as I understand it, Sharia is accepted by some as Holy Writ, so it should not become civil law.

Definitely a major threat to free speech. I do not see such law happening right now, but who is to say what will happen just mere years from now. The mood of a nation can change so quickly.

Did they say anything about complaining on Blogit?
It is hard to imagine our world of today has become what it is and will get worse.
