me to, i thought i would be afraid to shoot, but it turned out to be fun, especially since i was spending time with friends that enjoy shooting.

i went hunting once when i was a young girl and killed a rabbit and that was the end of my hunting, never want to kill anything again. but the target shooting was fun, and i wonder why? your only putting a hole in a target.

i had not held a gun for at least 40 years. i could never shoot a living thing, but it was fun, fun enough to go again.

I've never heard of anyone's accent being refered to as 'wild & wooly,' but if the shoe fits . . . And the way things are going lately, we may need all the sharpshooters we can get . . .

Well Jean I must admit when someone rang me from America it sounded wild, she later said in a letter that I sounded scared. perhaps I should have been.

It is fun, and I used to do a fair bit of it when I was still hunting. But when I gave up hunting, for me the shooting also ended...
