I've been trying to decide
What I want to do for Halloween. We are going to a party but it's been years since I dressed up.

They look like they enjoyed the costumes. How fun!

I used to love to dress up for Halloween, but it lost its appeal over the years since no one really trick-or-treats door-to-door anymore, at least not around here! And I guess those turtles made some sort of a comeback ( weren't they big about twenty years ago or so? ) . . .

One of my sons-in-law won't play dress-up even for a party
so my daughter made a little heart-shaped tag to pin to him, but he wouldn't even be a beany baby!

I dressed as a ghost one halloween and stood still on the sidewalk
near my house. The sheet draped over me blew slightly in the breeze and I didn't move or respond when one little trick 'r treater approached. I think I gave him a scare...

The only time I dressed up was as a rat at a school party and a ghost at a peace celebration that one made the little ones afraid so I had to take the mask off.

last time I ever dressed up was way back when first hubby and I went with friends to a come as you arte asked ball. A frind and I dressed the father of my kids in a pink and white candy stripe nightgown complet with the tassled night cap. We spent days making it together and a lot of giggling...I have no idea what I wore. Hubby was the Belle of the ball.LOL.

Can remember dressing up and taking the kids around. One year as Smokey the bear, and I had on my uncle's size 12 boots. I handled that pretty well...and if it hadn't been for the shot glass i carried around being filled so often, I NEVER would have tripped and scraped my nose...
.They do have great costumes - and Hallowe'en is a fun time.

Some cool costumes they got there. The last time I dressed up for Halloween, I was a Ravens fan, not exactly creative in Baltimore.

Neat costumes, those two! For me it's been along while as well, and to be honest, I never made too much of an effort. The last time I went as a burglar, wearing one of those Andy Capp caps and a black eye mask - five seconds on and off, LOL...
Oh, and I've got a response for you in 'Views'...
