it is going to be great read for the public, would make a fabulous movie, and I feel for you that perhaps it has been a time of healing and forgiving in your heart. A time of finding peace and pride in the strenth of your loving Mother, The bravery of your Father and the harm that war did to him. WE are all flawed, it has to be wonderful to forgive one's parents their mistakes and decisiona and frailties. Bless you our dear Pat.

Yes - each person has some good in him/her. I remember this story (the parts you put up here in Blogit) and how nice he was when they met in another life. Excellent writing Mme Pat-B!

The way you have written all of this is just wonderful and so readable. If I had the book, I would not be able to put it down.
