What a joy....
reading you is after not looking on here in so long!! You always make me giggle and snort....not a very ladylike combination, but I bet you have that effect on many of your gal-friends/sisters. First up was a warm and fuzzy about REM...hadn't thought of them in years....went to see them and came home to a bended knee and a ring put on my finger. Then, the march of wonderful words you pull out and weave through your imagery always delights my writer's eye as well as my reader's "ear". You are one talented wordsmith.....pretty good musician, too!!

The things we do in our youth that we would never consider doing once we are settled in our ways! Enjoyed your take on it.

I suspect that you have built up a good immunity to those nasty little bugs.
The tent was probably the best idea though, and the air was nice and fresh.

To me the difference is the two lifetimes. Now I need lists. Now I need plans. Once upon a time I never needed either and almost always it went well. The difference is age to me. i could not put up with the same things I thought fun when I was younger.

Maybe it's the Harley
But we spend more time ending up places we never planned to be on the weekends. I love the adventure.

Strat.....
We make lists ...writing them on the note pad on the fridge door....I will have to start putting a note on my over large hand bag to remind myself to get the list off the fridge door. I tell Y' Strat, it is all down hill from where y'r looking.
