It's not so much horrible, TAPS, as it is sad, especially because I know exactly what you mean. After a while, you become almost immune to such nonsense, because, with today's society, you almost come to expect this sort of behavior, and that's really sad! So I guess, all of these tid-bits are winners ( or is that losers? ) . . .

What amazes me, Kabu, is that I read about similar incidences all the time, especially concerning people and their annoying habits with their cell and smart phones. And yet, I don't recall anyone being tossed off of a bus, or a train, because of it ( although they probably should have been ). I've 'taken offense' over many such incidences and annoyances to no avail! What the $%&%$# has the world come to indeed! You go right ahead and sing that "Piggy" song all you'd like . . .

It was tough, I know, lovelylady! And, almost hard to believe! However, I've been reading and hearing such stories for so long now, I've almost become immune to them and their ridiculousness! Probably by next week, they'll be another dozen such stories! Time . . . and stupidity . . . marches on!

Thanks for voting, FSI. Hopefully the choices were fairly difficult, with each one being almost as ridiculous as the previous! But, that's what makes the world go around ( I guess ) and gives us fodder for discussion . . .

Perhaps too big, Bill! And last time I checked, not only are we not supposed to go 'swimming' immediately after we've eaten, but I don't think we're supposed to do it in a full tux with our hands and feet shackled either! Something went terribly wrong . . .

Well, Naut, I suppose 'frightening' is as good a word as any to describe that incident! Even if that couple was openly mocking that Muslim woman, I don't think it warranted them being kicked off that bus and being forced to walk two miles. I have heard and read of people doing much, much worse on certain mass-transit lines that weren't even disciplined! But remember, like I wrote, all it takes is for one person to complain . . .
