People want baby chimps as pets. They don't want the full-grown ones, but having one, tends to lead to the other. It's bad for everyone.

I do know that the first step towards inhuman acts like enslavement or genocide is to dehumanize the victims. What you say about cows and claws is undoubtedly true!

I suppose slaves were treated basically as animals. Gypsies were once treated nearly the same. Most animals would probably prefer to roam free, but at a cost. I suppose if cows had big teeth and massive claws milk would be more expensive and beef steaks more of an occasion. I really don't know Ciel, you know better than I do.

I find it all very interesting. I wouldn't want one for a pet, but I love seeing how they react with humans. You wrote a very good post here.

As I red the article and then started reading your thinking, I had all sorts to write. You covred the topic dso well and I agree so ttthoroughly with you I have nothing to say except...Yes Yes and again Yes. All animals the whole Wolrd is ours to take cre of not to destroy.
