I remember the story - it was widely reported here! I think we must hope the little girl ended up with a woman desperate for a child, and that she's being given love and care...

Prayer's always appropriate love.

I feel ashamed, for your words reminded me of the baby being taken. I must continue to hold them in my prayers, along with all the other lost children and the families without closure. Not to forget or let them fade like that old photo in the shop.

I remember when that occurred. I hope that wherever she is, she is okay.

I hope, like CCT wrote, that the baby has become the beloved child
of another family. It's heartbreaking to think that anyone could do this.

It is a chilling tale Taps. I remember you telling it at the time. Now how would anyone
know where the baby was sleeping? The only hopeful situation I can envisage is that
the baby was taken to appease a mother who desperately wanted a child. Like stealing someone's heart.
