Thank God he was able to smuggle out his scientific truth as for the recant....well I believe that if I was to be shot I would not recant, but it is not being a coward to do what you must to prevent torture. The Church worked of terrorizing the people to keep them from free thought...just like we are seeing today. It is humans determined to rule an ignorant mass ...nothing to do with God, nothing at all.

That was a very interesting read.The Truth you believe in comes with a price tag,sometimes it's your life. The old order never changes without a conflict.
