I watched Ernie the Hawk, as a young hawk, scoop down, and carry away Blue, a mild mannered blue jay. In later years, Ernie would visit, but left Fluffy the Squirrel and the other birds alone. I guess that he was satisfied with his feast loves. BC-A, Bill's Rst

my favorite position is when they cock their heads to hear something. or the hummingbirds feeding.  or i love to watch the martins soar.  i dont fear any and they only kill what they need to eat, nothing more.  i dont think they are trying to be mean.  but i did think the movie the birds was kinda scary.  i laugh when the mockingbirds attack my dogs, lol, to protect their babies. show the true love of a mother to attack something o much larger than she is.

I guess my favorite position would have to be somewhere away from my car! Damn poop gets everywhere . . .

I only fear when a hawk swoops down on a flock of birds Bill , I know it has to eat, but a pity it is not mice,

I like watching birds, any kind, fly over the water. They look so majestic...I do not anything that I fear about birds.

The reason that I like that position is because I imagine that as long as they are upside down they are probably not pooping on my porch.

My favorite bird position:

We have crazy birds here. Mark has categorized them into rail birds, slot birds, cage birds, wall birds and post birds. They hulk, waiting for food if they have gobbled down what we have put out for them.
