Re:
Peach Buckle sounds great. Won't the ice cream melt on the journey? I expect Phil will be over the moon.

Re: Jeansaw
No Jean I am sure my brother is too fussy, I am sure the fruit and vegetables will be fine.
We used to get toffee apples, good job you went to the dentist. The flower is a gazania it called a Benery hybrid it makes a nice cut flower. The only fault as with a lot of perennials is that it has it has little hairs on the stems and I have to rub my fingers up and down to smooth them as they may be harsh to sensitive fingers , not yours I am sure.

Yes the tiniest lightening flash trips my main switch so I have to keep an eye on that.

Fuses can be a real pain, especially if they're not marked - mine aren't...And with all that meat gone, maybe this is a good time to become a vegetarian...

Tripped breakers can be such a hassle. I have only had one breaker trip in the four years I have lived at my house, the breaker to my garage, which happened some months back.

what a beautiful flower, little flowers within a flower, who would have thought.
i doubt that anything had gone bad that quickly, how many times do the frozen goods we buy in the store partially defrost to be refrozen again. if it smells good and looks ok i eat it. but i have one son that is picky like that.
my new favorite snack right now is sliced apples dipped in carmel. we actually use to get carmeled apples for trick or treat at halloween.
you must be missing archie, hope he is having a good time, and that it passes quickly for you.

That's a shame about the freezers and the spoiled food. My wife and I hate to throw out anything, if we can help it. Obviously it was an accident. And at least the lady was kind enough not to bring you a pie that contained 'bad apples.' It showed she cared . . .

Arthur really does sound like he needs to chill out a bit...
Maybe one of those apple pies in the face would do the trick...

Son #3 is looking forward to celebrating his birthday (#51) in Florida visiting his brother (Son #2) and taking Phil to Disney World's Fall Festivities. Before he goes I must make them some kind of special fruit dessert like a blueberry grunt or a peach buckle or an apple tart....maybe all three and get him some ice cream to go with them.
