Well just one point Naut. It has been said that we will have a closed border if there is a yes vote. Believe it or not apparently the Scots have a more lenient immigration policy than we have, perhaps it is too cold up north and the view is that immigrants might slip across through Scotland. God help us. One point that has not had much attention is that if England suffers financially  from the consequence of a Yes vote. It is not hard to imagine a public boycott of Scottish produce. Especially if it is regarded as a foreign country and thought to be to blame for all future problems. I just can't see it ending with harmony.

Good job, dude! It does seem extremely rare to see Scotland on the 'international scene' for any reason. But I've no doubt this overall issue is very important to them. As with everything else, we'll just have to 'stand by' and see what happens . . .

Thanks for answring all the questions our Nautikos...if y' wanted to know mor about the PM sacking...you can probably google " Gough Whitlam", he was the labout PM who couldn't get his budget passed and the GG sackd him and asked the liberals to form a Government and call an election which thy won in a landslide...the damage was done though by then. Australia had already found their likeing for social welfare. Some things were of course of great benefit to ordinary peeple but in came too much money ina rush for the unemployed and the arts...stupid things money thrown away...too much too quick.  And the GG was known for his love of the bottle...all becomiing folk lore now but i remember every moment of that time.
