That happened here once too, Pat, and I did the same - waited on the service guy to show up. He got things back on track, and I got a bill.

Pat
My TV is supposed to be able do everything, including making coffee! But since I prefer to make my own I haven't asked it yet, and that has made it possible for me to avoid a whole array of buttons on the remote that I want nothing to do with. Having kept things simple, I have also avoided the problems associated with power outages and such! The beast has behaved itself so far, and I have never had to call in the troops...

Hm' we always unplug everything if a storm is brewing Pat although my main switch is so sensitive it knocks it all out at the start of a storm. We unplug telephone as well. I hope there is a safety gadget in the television that protects the machine.

I hope you get your service restored soon!
I am afraid to touch the three remotes it takes to turn on my DC daughter's tv system. I need the directions written out, so I don't destroy their carefully set up set-up.
