We don't know what to expect from the weather anymore. Like Kabu, I would like to see a picture.

The only thing we usually put out in the spring is our huge 5' cactus. I didn't do it this year because of my arm injury. Amazingly, she flowered once anyway, for one night showing us two big flowers simultaneously...

Re: CCT,
Rose seeds! Yes, I imagine they'd be some time from planting to blooming! I like those kind of purplish ones that have such a bright, winey, or sometimes berry-like scent.

Ciel I was looking for some seeds and I saw some rose seeds advertised the roses were every colour imaginable I don't think I would like a black rose, but some were really astonishing. Take a while to grow from seed I think.

Re: Pat,
I wonder if what's eating your moss roses is after the moisture in them. Or maybe they just taste good! They are such pretty flowers, the colors so bright and pure!

Re: Kabu,
I suppose letting them follow their natural seasonal cycles is not a bad thing, but it's nice to have summer flowers blooming indoors in the winter, too.
The rose has come inside, and the opening bud is posing nicely.

I've been thinking of replacing the moss roses in my planters with
mums - something eats the moss roses as fast as they bloom, and I've even found the
stems and branches tossed to one side. I didn't know squirrels ate such things.
