I know! The library is not used like it is used in the usa...there are libraries for the children but we didn't go to one of them...The passport is because everyone must show ID to enter...even egyptians and the marriage license is so that i pay the egyptian rate rather than the foreigner rate

If the library cannot be there to lend books, why is it there. At least you have the internet.

This is all very strange! You need a passport and a marriage license to get into a library?? A library that closes at 2PM??
