I would assume, mumblings aside, that you still appreciated the call. And if your grandsons wanted some real combat experience, have them dropped into Jersey City for a week! That'll get 'em ready for anything . . .

I always needed my daughter to translate
when little Zoe was telling me important things over the phone.

I understand the guys really love jumping out of planes and playing
survival games, at least while it's a training exercise. You can worry about tomorrow tomorrow. What the kids were saying, in so many words, was we love you Grandma and we're happy you're there where we can tell you.

Okay now that has all settled down, take a peaceful nap and wake to a different outlook. Yes George's son was a paratrooper it can only be helped by this preparatory work Grandson Michael is going through. I know what you mean. The good old days are gone. I am praying for your grandsons.

Oh my - that's a lot for one day - the thoughts, the worries, and the waking up to excited, chatting children and an upset football fan.... maybe a shot of brandy in that coffee....

LOl...Sounds like the phone call Mothers of sons so often get. Dad is supposed to supervise his kids talking with his mother but said kids are too excited and their little voices don't make much sense. I cannot understand half of 1% even now that she is 15 of what my granddaughter says on the phone. Her high pitched excited voice my ears just don't pick up anymore.
