i love reading your posts, sounds so homey and relaxed. even though we all never seem to find enough time. i love the times in our lives that things seem to be running smoothly but it is really a roller-coaster ride. stay well and thanks for the smile.

'Animal wars' are never fun. Although we only have cats, there are a few minor skirmishes from time to time, usually involving Riki ( the resident Queen ) and any one of the other cats. But, in time, I'm sure everyone will adjust. And I'm actually somewhat surprised that your 'traffic problem' is somehow getting worse as the summer draws to an end. Down here it's just the opposite. Because most of the major routes head south towards the beaches, summer traffic is usually a bear for us! Now it will start to dissipate a bit! Enjoy your week . . .

So good to read you, and find that you've been busyhappy and not
just overwhelmed. I should think your wild tomcat has mellowed, now that you've had his nut tree trimmed. That seems to take the scratch & spit level down a notch or two. Great news about Grump! Good for you and the ex reaching the kinda sorta "reunited and it feels so good" level. ♥

Naughty Naut!
You should have dropped in - or at least contacted me. I was expecting to hear from you when I saw you were posting from the Maritimes. I thought you were still there, but you are home already?

I'm really glad Grump is feeling better! Actually I was thinking of you as I was driving by twice, sort of, on my way to and from Nova Scotia - but then thought better of it, pretty sure that with all the work you do you might be more interested in some peace and quiet rather than in entertaining a drop-in, LOL...
