Uncomfortable for women and trash everywhere - it seems those are the two main characteristics of contemporary Egypt. Of course, there are also the amazing treasures of ancient, pre-Islamic Egypt...

You will have to go in drag . Perhaps if you wore Jeans or whatever. I get the feeling there is no place like home however much one grumbles about the place.
