Re: Kabu
I've been so tired today that I haven't even checked on her today yet.
But, it is comforting to know that her daughter is with her, and her son on call, and knowing my other sis, she is probably over there now and will report in later.

Re: C_C_T
Shade is very nice but it is difficult to find for car parking.

Try and park in the shade, I do Taps. Sadly one has to get anywhere quite early to achieve that position. It is a problem with siblings when one feels duty bound to comfort them, just at the time one needs extra comfort oneself. You are doing fine.

I continue to wish your sister all the best...I have a tendency of forgetting where I have parked my car. I either park away from the bunch or if at grocery stores near the cart drops offs.

Re: Ciel
I was being facetious, but choosing from your two alternatives, I think I'd pick dying young (whatever young is--once in a while I even feel young at my age LOL).

The alternative to getting old
is either dying young(er) or living forever. Considering how my grandma aged, by 1000, she'd have looked like the cricket in Greek myth who was once a man who begged immortality from the gods, but didn't think to request also eternal youth and health.

Maybe this heat wave will pass soon, and we can get back to
worrying about accomplishing something other than staying cool.

Too late for your parting advice. So sorry to hear about your sis in hospital, and relieved that the visiting sis was helped by the staff. Take care of you, TAPS. (I think I'd have enjoyed being in that dream!)
