I ws the one who started the divorce to the Father of my Sons. Well I asked for a separation for 3 months thinking that we could sort out our marriage in that time. Ha...he had already asked another woman to marry him inside that time.
Actually I did not want him back. I wanted my life, my family. I cried, I never ate a proper meal for years. he got more than half for I did not want my kids hurt more by us fighting AND I was young enough to start a new career...but yes you must look after yourself. i walked miles and miles when i could not sleep, and i cried some more...usually at night late when no one could see me. i loathe your Richard for calmly heaving all the blame onto you. Why not be a man and just say, I fell out of love...and in love. And your friends here will never tire of you writing down how you feel. and I am sending big hugs.

Jean I have seen elderly people living together who really hate each other, they make life a misery for each other. Perhaps you could remain as friends, not as adversaries. No one is perfect, goodness the things I have done, which at the time was no more than normal, but in isolation seem a bit cruel. Sadly most things are to do with money and you must decide what is fair. No one is innocent and people change, we are all living longer and must learn to cope with a new situation.
