It is terrific and now the developers can wait and you can live in and breath fresh area and not be hemmed in behind apartments and a shopping center. Good for you and Anne and Auntie gets to have an income regularly coming in. I love how you are putting your money to such good purpose. Congratulations.

I think it's great that you bought those lots, and that the whole family is together! I couldn't think of a better arrangement...

Good thinking FS. Land will go up in value, not only that it is worth a lot to have privacy. Hang on to it as long as you can you will never regret it. Sadly when young no one has the cash to speculate, you have some good relatives.

It sounds like you have made a really good business deal, as well as keeping family history intact, and enjoying roominess of land around your house. Sounds like some good gardening is in order.

That's good that you were able to keep all of that real-estate in the family. And I think my wife would have done the exact same thing, keeping some of that property 'undeveloped.' She always laments that it seems there are certain people who, for whatever reason, just can't stand to see a piece of ground without a house or building on it. What's wrong with just some trees and bushes, or nothing for that matter? I vote for keeping it filled with scenary provided by Mother Nature . . .
