here's some hints I learned over my past episodes with poison ivy....
1. don't rub yourself dry....pat lightly with towel
2. change bedding frequently
3. don't use bleach water
4. colder the water the better
5. put a little ground oatmeal in your bath
6. aloe is good....just pat lightly with a piece of it
7. keep your sense of humor

You poor luv. Summer is supposed to be the best time...well you have a sister up here, I have had my falls and bruises and both Wiley and I were ill from mosquitoe bites and now we cannot use the basement as we wait for it to be fixed. (The hot water system leaked all throughout the basement)
