You do a very good job of vindicating yourself, and with humor.

It appears that there are some who want to take away others rights to vote as they choose. My ancestors came to America in 1625 I truly consider myself an American. In the almost 80 years I have been on this planet at a very early age I began looking carefully into politics. I am a real Christian and hate is not allowed me. What is bothering me is the language used against us in the US for not voting as Canadians want. I find this man in office now to have increased the negative in all areas in this country. We who actually do live here in great portion do see it going down the tube. We see the action daily. I do believe Obama will go down in history as the worst president ever. I have voted both Democrat and Republican in my life and there is not a racial prejudiced bone in my body and I can say with certainty this man does not have the best for the United States of America anywhere on his agenda. This man and Hilary Clinton are not fit for the White House in the United States of America. If you want them in Canada, be my guest.

I guess I missed most of this

You are both gentleman and both very smart men.  It's good to see you confront your difference of opinions in a civil and adult manner.

As with anything else, everyone is entitled to their opinions. It's good that you and Sir Wiley can keep this 'discussion' from turning into an 'argument.' Like any good tennis match, one person fired the ball, and the other fired back! Nothing wrong with that. As long as no one charges the net with the intent of 'hurting' the other . . .

Re: CCT.

I think Scotland forgot to get out of the 16 hundreds but again it is none of my business.

Naut I am so happy to read that you are going to stop using school boy bully names no matter where they came from. I admire your intelect so much that it hurt to see you demeaning yourself in my apinion. Actually, I believe that our Wiley and myself too are disappointed that Ms. Clinton has so little faith in her ability to win an election on her own merit, that she feels she must distance herself from the present regime where she held such a huge and prestigious position.

And in Australia the treasurer is in hot water for saying that the increase in tax at the pump won't hurt the poor because they don't own a car or if they do they never drive it far....OUCH.!!!! LOl

I prefer not to get too involved with political discussions. Here is to hoping that you and Wiley work things out.

Well Naut, I hope this will have a calming influence in Blogit. As I did not participate and rarely follow politics only our own backyard. I would be interested to learn what bloggers thought of Scotland's vote in the near future.
