I stopped watching certain news channels because of these annoying female reporters! Who the hell keeps hiring them anyway . . . ?

i watch the headlines and then I go to my computer for news...for australian news usually...i find more world reporting on the BBC but even there it has changed so much. Our TV is hardly worth paying for at the moment. Never on anymore.

This is all so sad, and everything you say here is so true. I can hardly stand to watch the news on TV anymore.

We used to get letter from America. It used to be quite interesting . Everything has changed it is all dramatics or flesh. Signs of the times.

The news reporters have, indeed, gotten out of control.

Pat
This reminds me of aspects of (our famous Canadian) Marshall McLuhan's notion that 'The Medium is the Message' (mostly misunderstood, LOL).
BTW, if you have seen Annie Hall (you probably have; I mean, who hasn't?) you would have seen him in a cameo role, playing himself...

Remember when Walter Cronkite was accounted
"The Most Trusted Man In America?" I don't think we even have one of those, now.
I got to wondering what percentage of time the Bimbo Journalists (male and female) spend schmoozing about their own stuff, on the average (and they are all average) news show, compared to actually delivering useful and needful news.
Idiocracy looms...

Not a fan to TV news.
I prefer to read it without all the dramatic nonsense.
