there are 2 h's in Arabic.....since there is no translation of that h sound they use the number 7 which resembles that letter in Arabic

An interesting glimpse of the Cairo scene! But you still haven't told us why Ahmad is called A7mad instead of, say, A4mad, A5mad or even A9mad...
