From your blogging, I can bet Charlie will be a great asset to that company. And everything happens for a reason - good thing the other place's training conflicted with his first commitment to the Festival!

Re: CCT,
Sales jobs are hard for so many reasons! For one thing, they are invasive and often pushy, besides.
Actually, so far, he is quite pleased about this that will not only pay him, but will also give him the opportunity to help people. It's all incoming customer assistance calls, no sales. The big challenge is dealing with people who are so frustrated they are angry at the company, and he is the voice of the company when he answers their call. They are trained how to "de-escalate" irate callers, so that they can be helped.

Well it is better than trying to sell something Ciel. I do hope he likes the job, not really what he wanted I guess, but one has to earn money to survive. I had a young lady trying to sell me a repeat order of Krill tablets for £30, I did not like to tell her I could buy the same for half the price manufactured in UK, rather than some foreign company and I could get it the next day instead of waiting nearly a month as I did for the first sample.
