So good to be reading you again.  You be very careful driving when you are sleepy.  That is so dangerous.  Prayers for your safety.  Red heart

So sorry to hear you have these insomnia problems! I guess I'm fortunate that I don't often have trouble falling asleep! On the odd occasion a little brandy 'nightcap' helps, as does reading a boring book, something I've read before - it never fails...

Get that salt recipe and take a good 45 minute soak, rub down in oil and you will sleep like a baby!

Thankfully, for me, Melatonin works...I had tried Tylenol PM at the recommendation of my doctor, but that did not work.

I don't think I've ever had bouts of what one might consider insomnia, and certainly nothing on that scale! How you can actually function on just three hours sleep is beyond me! My wife and I recently saw a news story that said the doctors who make these assessments have changed the 'recommended' amount of nightly sleep from 8 hours to 7. That's probably about what my wife and I get. I assuming that, at this point, you'd gladly take that 6 each night! I hope that overall situation improves for you soon! By the way, I don't think you can actually sue Morpheus . . .

Do you still relax in your jacuzzi ? treat yourself to a massage and have thenails and feet done. These pampering remedies really help...you are loveable , we love you ...love yourself because you deserve to. xxxxx

Adnohr may I suggest that you are mildly depressed,

you have had many traumatic experiences over the

last few years, I know you try to overcome these

but the hidden sorrow is difficult to cope with.

It is a pity you cannot just work mornings

and have a few hours sleep in the afternoon.

I know everyone shouts see a doctor, and won't

go themselves. I am just the same. Take care.

When I'm wide awake I turn on the history channel or a documentary

about historic preservation of some distant city, or travel in modern cities or the life of someone who used to be a household watchword, and as the announcer drones on I fall asleep. I use the "sleep" function so the tv doesn't run all night.

before you go to the doctor...

you might try something like a mild, over-the-counter sleep aid. I take dyphenhydramine, the ingredient used in cough suppressants, that helps you relax and get to sleep, and stay asleep. I take it sometimes three nights running, and then my system seems to remember how to do it on its own.

There are a couple of others on the market, but I look for one with that as the active ingredient.

It is not habit-forming and doesn't hang on the next morning if you get your full 8 hours.
