A very wonderful Festival and that place sounds perfect for the frog population. More of them will live a long life there I think. I would have kept the horse shoe. I love things like that and I have two of those huge nails from here that I have found. One I painted different colors and made into a Gnome house, the other I just have because.

I suppose frogs eat slugs so save a few. I have noticed several hopping around on my garden I assume someone has tipped a bucket full over the fence. On our recycling list it says put all loose plastic in a separate bag, but the builders should have taken it away.

I just had to go and check out that park - it's beautiful, perfect for your pollywogs! Make sure you keep a few for your own pond, though - you wouldn't want to miss their froggy songs...

What a good pond to be a tadpole in, becoming a frog,
presided over by a kind and thoughtful Goddess of the Pond such as yourself!
By the way, on the flight home, I asked at one point where we were right then. The flight attendant didn't know--"about halfway, I think"--but a few moments later came back and told me, "The Captain says we are just east of Saint Louis."
Well, the air was thick with summer haze and actual clouds--some big ones! So I knew you wouldn't see, but I waved, anyway.
