And one kept the Christmas cards and special letters and smelt the sweet paper and tied letters from one's first love with blue ribon and hid them deep.

I truly miss handwritten letters as well...so much more personable then emails

That's so true. I believe the days of hand-written letters is pretty much over, and it's a shame. There was always something magical about physically holding a letter from someone in your hands. That's why I will probably never get involved with e-books. I like to physically hold a book in my hands too . . .
