Jemmie,

I suffer from depression also, so I understand what you've been and are going through now.  Mine is mostly seasonal, but it's still so hard.  Be patient with yourself and remember, there is hope.  I'm here if you need anything.

I too have bouts of depression from time to time, but I don't think I would consider it 'clinical.' And most of the time there are no specific causes either. I know you may have heard this before, and hopefully these sentiments don't come off sounding hollow, but the best way of combatting depression ( at least in my experiences ) has been to concentrate really hard on the positives in your life. Everyone has problems, and everyone has 'things' to deal with probably on a daily basis. But you just can't allow those negative things to take hold. Can you see? Can you hear? Do you have all of your limbs? Are you confined to a wheelchair? Can you read? Can you write? Can you speak? Do you have all of your faculties and can understand what is going on around you? Believe it or not, there are many people who have to answer no to some of these things, but I don't think you do. It's time to shift your priorities back to the positives, and be thankful for the little things you may be taking for granted! Like a friend's mother once told me, no matter what 'bad thing' is going on in your life, there's always someone worse off! It's time to take a stand against this depression once and for all, hold your head up, and focus on the positives in your life . . .

Yes it is tough I had O.C.D. I also know if one becomes run down depression is easily

something one can slip into. I seem to remember you have had stressful problems.

I would see a Doctor, if it does not get better.
