All I can say is . . . weird! I say that because, first of all, Drew has played his entire career as a short stop, but the Yankees are going to ask him to step in as a second baseman ( we'll see how that goes! ). Second, Brian Cashman assesses that he brought in Drew to "improve the Yankee's offensive output," although Drew is hitting a paltry .176 this year! And third, if they're considering Jeter's future "replacement," they might be better off bringing up someone through their system rather than via a trade! I think Boston is laughing their asses off over this one, although getting Kelly Johnson in return isn't much compensation! We'll see . . .
