CCT

Bennie's reaction to flea drops is the same as your cat's, but my cat is spared since she is never allowed to venture out because of the coyotes...And this Wolfy Dunn poem is fab...

Hi CCT!

Pretty fleur. I'm alive and well. Just thought I'd try this for another month. I've missed everyone. Hope you're enjoying your English Summer. Carolyn

Re: Re:

Mr. Graysome is very well catered to with a cage on the deck outside and I feed peanuts to the critters but out of his reach. He sits there and loves the fun when they fight for the food...he is entertained for ages and I am the fool who pays for all the peanuts.

Re: Jimmy

Well I don't know how you keep them from running outside Jimmy. My friend had two Persian Cats and they got out and would not come off of the roof, he had to get a roofer to retrieve them. I expect yours are glad to stay inside in the bad weather.

Re: Pat..

When Arthur was in digs he said the chap next door had a horrible looking cat. One day he was muttering and told Arthur that the cat was very bad ,he had caught a rat and brought it indoors. He explained that he had to wash the cat's mouth out with Jeyes fluid. It was the stuff used for drains. Poor cat.

Re:

Well I thought you would tell me the name of the flower, no it is not a daisy. A bit of a job isn't it this old cat of mine moves in and out like a streak of lightening. What you need is a long cage so that Mr Greysome could run out and mingle with the squirrels.

Re: adnohr

Adnohr the cat usually sleeps in one of the greenhouses on a heated pad, but she seems a bit nervous and scooted indoors this morning, so I have fixed her a blanket in the porch, and she seems to like it better, I shall put a heater in there in the winter.

I have not tried the brownies yet, you will be the first to know.

I use the same on my cats, CCT, or flea/rick collars. Lovely flower, and amusing poem, and how were the brownies?

Things are never dull when cats are around...Ms. Wolfy Dunn can be tough.

I'm sorry I've no cure for fleas, except to dip the cat in naptha...

Which of course the cat objects to in the strongest possible terms, and then you'll need bandaids for the scratches and perhaps medical attention for yourself. I thought the brownies were a neighborly touch.

Love your Wolfy poems, and this one on twins is really fun. :)

A packet of freshly-made brownies in exchange for some oversized Dahlias you didn't want anyway . . . sounds like a good deal to me! Since our cats never go outdoors, fleas & ticks are never a problem. And putting those drops on the back of his neck was the right thing to do. However, I guess you'll have to learn to be a little stealthier with that bottle . . .
