During the Revolutionary War, we had a mantra to follow: No Quarter! I guess for this War On Terror, the mantra ( at least for some countries ) is: Sure, Whatever You Need! I don't recall who in history said it, but there was something inherently wrong about showing 'mercy to your enemies,' whether it was civil or not. I don't know about you, but I'm not prepared to learn to speak Arabic nor refer to anyone as Allah . . .

Did you see where a Turkish Minister for something wants to demand that women do not laugh in public nor should they use their phones to talk trivial things on...the women responded with tweeting trivia and sending selfies of giggling and laughing together. A few years back no one in the cities would have dreamed of trying to tell an educated Turkish woman how they must behave.
