I am not sure about Rios. It seems like pitchers more often than not get unloaded during the trading season.

It's very difficult to say definitively one way or another with all of these trade rumors now floating around, because there are so many factors to consider with each and every one of them. And how many times over the years have you heard or read about some of these trades that looked marvelous on paper, but turned out to be a bust? Since money is usually the bottom-line determining factor, and since many teams that looked like contenders at the time of the trade 'petered out' at the end of the season, I wouldn't even consider the possibility of anyone being traded to a supposed contender. You just let the chips fall where they may, and hope that if your team is involved with a trade, you get something viable in return . . .
