Re: Jimmy

No I know Jimmy. I should think I have ten phone calls a day all rubbish, but if they don't leave a message one kind of knows it would not be to anyone's benefit but the caller's.

Yes that is the one, pretty little wench if she still looks like that.

Re: Rumor

I think we have seen so much of the old stuff and the new is just rehashed. I do like reading better. I must admit. We can see folk acting the goat without turning to the box.

Re:Kabu

Kabu it is a puny poem, but not bad for ten minutes. Funny how things change I still like my Merino blankets in winter one can throw one off if one becomes too warm.I suppose duvets and central heating has killed the trade again. I'll show you a pretty flower next time I write.

Yes FS I have learned to read the small print and then they try to get round it, easy to join though.

Re: Wiley

Poor old Danny, at least he worked Bro, I suppose that was in his favor. I think the guy in the shop didn't have the expertise to refuse gracefully not being English.

Re: Pat

Yes Pat we have to get over things the best way we can, It is funny really one never knows what reaction one will get, once I had the most clicks from only saying four words , but maybe that would not last.

Re: Ciel

Well Ciel I don't watch telivision, but he is a fan as you obviously are. I was not going to pay nearly £30 a month just so he could watch it, but it is on Amazon, all the episodes if ever you want to on Prime.

Re: Naut

This Buffy is about witches and weirdos. I think he likes the girl, but he says it is clever. I know I let her off lightly.

CCT

Does that Buffy show have anything to do with Buffy Sainte-Marie, the by now slightly antiquated flower child? (That reminds me of the days when even I had very long hair, LOL.)  And that was a kute Kabu poem...

The premise of Buffy may not appeal to some,

but the show itself is very funny, very clever, and occasionally very moving.  The creator of it, Joss Whedon, has a deep sensitivity to humanity. He won an award for one particular episode of Buffy, one that I watched at the time, and thought he should get an Emmy for it. I was very pleased that he did.

Sometimes reading you is like a visit with a friend, catching up on all

the funny little bits of a day, the aggravations that seem inevitable. It's a treat to read what your poet mind does with things. :) ♥

Chiff Chaff

Your seller o odd things reminded me of a brother of mine Danny. He sold Rawleigh products all his life and he was a real pain in the butt. Never mind he's selling stuff in heaven now, or spraying the daisies he's pushing up. LOL I'd never go back to that snooty store again, tell 'em to stuff it where the sun don't shine. Loved your poem about Kabu, she'll love that old chap.

what can I say but a great poem...we still grow the finest wool in the world but no one wants it now...well lots don't anyway.

I would tick Archie off for telling tales and me brother too for listening to them.

You should never feel obligated to buy anything you don't really want, just as you should never feel obligated to even answer the phone! And if by "Buffy" you're refering to the show "Buffy The Vampire Killer," no one here can hack it either . . .
