Re: Jimmy...lol...I must get that cable station...
It probably doesn't matter, Rumor. Many of those programs will show up somewhere sooner or later . . .

Re: Jimmy re
Still not familiar with it, C C T, but I'll take your word for it. It reminded me of a very funny movie made some years ago called "What Did You Do In The War, Daddy?" but it definitely wasn't about the British Home Guard . . .

Jimmy re
It was a program quite popular in its time featuring the British Home Guard during WW2. Around the time of your old films.

Well, Kabu, he could have been, just maybe a little over-exuberant at times! And hey, some of those TV shows may have been just fine, if not contradictory! But those titles . . .

You're very welcome, Sir Wiley, and I'm sure Morocco is a beautiful country. But I'm also pretty sure they don't experience hail either . . .

Believe it or not, adnohr, I think this came out of a conversation my wife and I were having with a friend whose dog might actually be contracting cataracts. Apparently this is less common in cats! But if it wasn't . . .

I don't see why not, FSI. Some of those shows were actually pretty good and well-received in their day! And probably more enjoyable viewing than some of the nonsense out today . . . !

That's okay, C C T. Some weeks they're off-color, some weeks they're clean as a whistle! And I'm afraid I'm not quite sure what your question pertains to. My dad was in the Navy . . .

Re: Jimmy
So true, Naut, so true! Although there are a couple of recent programs my wife and I enjoy watching ( all on the History Channel ), some nights we find ourselves gravitating toward channels like AntennaTV or MeTV, which present old shows and sit-coms from the '60's and '70's. Much more enjoyable . . .
