I am so happy that your grandson has come home. It seems as if I know him. I loved following stories when he was a young teen and visiting with grandma. Lovely man I am sure.

I'm glad Peter's home. I'm so thankful for his service, and that he came home all in one piece - he risked a lot and his wife and child also sacrificed. I hope we're all truly grateful for what they've given.
My grandson would have gotten out a few months ago, but was fortunate enough to get a promotion. He and the family will be moving from 29 Palms in the near future, either to some area for advanced training, or to a station overseas - possibly Okinawa where he can take the family along.
