Re: Re: Re: Kabu,
I imagine they will be there for some time, and are looking for a house to buy. The plan is definitely for me to get over there once they are settled.

Re: Kabu,
Yes, the two cats and two dogs will be going. Cooper, being repatriated, in fact. Ripley has a New Zealand accent. The cats are American, but one is east coast, the other west.

Re: CCT,
Good food is worth the extra expense, even if it can only be now and then. Good food is one of the chief pleasures of life!

Re: adnohr,
She will be getting a new household organized for a while, and has been accepted to a school to get her masters in zoology. She plans to do that next year, and also has a connection with the Born Free Foundation. More about that later...

I hope your wish comes true for Ripley, and the hip troubles don't come
for a good long time. The food you describe just sounds fabulous, and yes, dahling, I'm making that little flighty gesture with my hand as I say it in my best theatrical voice...

Well Ciel to tell you the truth I am a bit bored with eating meatless fare and even bread seems boring unless it is heavily seeded. The good old days with the faggots and peas seem to appeal or a slice of ham cut from the piggy hanging on the wall in a kitchen.
Poor old doggy I hope the wet does not complicate things for him. Although it is very dry at the moment. She is a good girl,

Marika is my idol. Will she be doing the same type of work when she moves overseas?

That is how it was where I am at, starting with clouds that gave way to the sun...I am glad to read that Ripley is doing well.

Amazing what a good Mama can give an animal in quality of life. I presume that the animals will go with her to the UK when she goes.
those open sandwiches are very popular in Australia. Avocado is almost a staple.

Smoked salmon with dill and scallions, and slices of avocado? You're talking about one of my fave home-made sandwiches! Sometimes I spread a bit of whipping ceam with a hint of wasabi on part of it...French bakeries are always a delight...And I'm very glad that Ripley is doing well...

And this reminded me that I'm out of avocadoes - gotta go and get some...
